"Towards Abstraction is my first Solo show, it’s a narrative of my journey as an artist thus far. I have tried to explore the spiritual side of nature attempting to investigate and capture the shifting light source, my main focus has been to study the ephemeral quality of light.The more I have tried to capture the essence of something real as a painter, the more abstract the style has emerged and it’s a beautiful paradox that I want the viewers to experience on this show. It is a journey of gradually moving towards more clarity, discarding barriers between the idea and the art. Breaking away from the familiar recognizable form yet retaining some representative remnants of the visual world. Keeping a lot unsaid and unrevealed between what is open to view. "
